Building on the general introduction published in October of 2022, I am presenting the next instalment of my teaching on the book of Revelation: a more detailed look at the text of Revelation 1-11. An exposition of the remaining chapters is to follow early next year.
This issue also includes:
- A list of the preceding units (the general introduction)
- A brief bibliography on Revelation with books I have found particularly helpful
- An overview of other issues of Create a Learning Site published this year – in case you missed something (or get bored over Christmas)!
Seriously: looking back over my learning journey of this year it stands out to me how diverse these issues are; they range far and wide through the land of Scripture studies. So much to learn!
But first Revelation. There are six units for chapter 1-11; the material is available both as video podcasts on YouTube and as a complete script for each unit in PDF, consisting of slides with text. First, video:
8 Chapter 4-5: Heavenly Throne Room
10 Chapter 8-9: Seven Trumpets
11 Chapter 10-11: A Mighty Angel and Two Witnesses
Second, as PDF:
